Course Introduction:

This comprehensive training is designed to guide and assist tactical breachers through the process of creating and sustaining a tactical breaching program.  The course instructs participants in the various components necessary to establish a program which fulfills their agency’s operational requirements and will be able to successfully withstand legal scrutiny.

Training Topics:
  • Creating policies and procedures suitable for the agency’s needs.
  • Establishing parameters for initial certification, recertification, qualification, and sustaining training.
  • Defining the required equipment and support materials as well as the methods by which they are selected and authorized.
  • Identifying and creating proper documentation and record-keeping for
    • Training
    • Operational deployment
    • Inventories (explosives, non-explosives, and consumables)
  • Creating a suitable training facility to sustain the agency’s breaching capabilities     
  • Defining proper operational deployment considerations
Course Prerequisites:
  • Participants must be US citizens
  • Participation restricted to Fully Commissioned/ Sworn U.S. Law Enforcement Officers, Government Agents, and Active Military Personnel
  • Participants cannot be on “light duty” status
  • Participants can only attend the training under the following conditions:
    • With their agency’s knowledge and agreement to their active participation in the course. 
    • While being paid by their agency to attend the training (being on the clock).
  • Participants must be in good standing with their agency

Note: This course is only open to weapon-carrying full-time commissioned Law Enforcement officers and/ or Government employees.
