Course Description
More than just a standard weapons class, this course takes small arms manipulation, marksmanship, and tactics to a new level. It combines fundamental and advanced weapons skills with a proactive fighting mindset to create a practical combat doctrine commonly used by CT Teams, Tactical Surveillance Teams, and other specialized units. This doctrine applies to every level of law enforcement and military from basic to special operations.
In the ever-changing environment of combat, an operator must possess more than just a basic understanding of his/ her weapon system and tactics. He/ she must understand the dynamics of combat and the crucial skills and traits necessary to gain the upper hand and defeat the opponent.
By joining physical skills, empty hand, and weapon combat with the proper thought process and mental awareness, this course will change the operator’s reaction in combat from reactive to proactive. In cases where the operator is taken by surprise or finds him/ herself in an inferior position, this valuable training will prove to be a crucial factor in determining the successful outcome of the confrontation.
Course Prerequisites:
Restricted to Fully Commissioned/ Sworn U.S. Law Enforcement Officers, Government Agents, and Active Military Personnel
